WASHINGTON HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT PLANTED EXPLOSIVE DEVICE


A 19 year-old high school senior at Washington High School was responsible for placing a simulated explosive device on a support beam in a breezeway within the school campus. The school administrator and members of the Phoenix Police Department received information from the community that brought a quick conclusion to the investigation.  The student, Oscan Zevada-Franco, has been transported to the MCSO jail where he has been booked for two criminal charges.
